For SBOA anna nagar west age limit is same as above and same interview of above but with application they will give you blank white paper . in that paper you must write your donation amount . this year 25,000 and above with good interview result childrens are selected.
and Lachateline they will not call us for interview depends upron the parents qualification they will select.

How about SBOA-Annanagar?
The top schools are hyped and are pure racist. One can never get entry in to it unless you are of a particular race or have heavy cine or political influence.
However they are able to produce good results. Only because they retain only the performers and chuck the non performers.Its unfair to dump the ones who are bad in studies. Its no great achievment to make a already good student secure marks. Where is the effort??

I agree with the comment of Warm Leader. I have tried to contact DAV in Anna Nagar and I have not been let in by the watchman to see any of the staff. He informed that any one of the office staff should give permission. Infact every school should have a PRO like the one in Velammal Matriculation School. Even SBOA is no different to DAV.

I went to SBOA Matric School, Even though I was quite above average in my studies, this particular Teacher by name Washington was horrible to me,because one of my family member failed in her subjects. Well , I got 74% in History .There was no need for her to treat me everyday like a piece of shit that too first in the morning. It had demoralised me . I hated attending my school . Likely I did quite well in my 10th score

Well, I am thrilled seeing schools in chennai section making me think about my school, Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan. My time was during 1992 to 1997 and when I think about this school now, I feel the school is very good, through it does not feature for its merit anywhere in the net.
Its cbse, but the teaching was wonderful...lots of cocurricular activities inside class, little projects, dramas and such things....painting classws, sports day, lots of exploration within campus with prayer period.
They inculcate dicipline in students...what I liked about this school was it was fun going, good education, interaction with teachers,lots of activity for children to show creativity, develope team working experience ...being a co-ed school too, it was a good school...took us to trips to, little forks, planetorium, had a campfire at school....Definitely one of the best schools in chennai...they also used to teach us bhagavat gita and slokas, something everyone is priveledged to learn.... The school has a campus where many times we have lunched outside instead of inside classrooms and playing outdoor sports is encouraged in school. The schools in kilpauk, those days near mummy daddy's.
